On May 31, 2023, the Council for International Relations–Greece organized a discussion, as a part of the Ambassadors’ Forum, with US Ambassador H.E. George J. Tsunis.
Introductory remarks were addressed by Ioannis Moralis, Mayor of Piraeus, Professor Michael Sfakianakis, Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Konstantina Botsiou, Dean of the School of Economic, Business and International Studies, University of Piraeus, CfIR-GR General Director, and Professor Aristotle Tziampiris, Professor of International Relations, Department of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus.
George J. Tsunis, received the Prometheus Award and address students & faculty at the Ambassador’s Forum, at Piraeus Municipal Gallery. He spoke on the importance of strong Greek-American relations and our collective role in defending our shared democratic values.
Professor Marilena Koppa, Panteion University, Vice-President, Council for International Relations, Professor Constantine Arvanitopoulos Panteion University, General Director, Konstantinos G. Karamanlis Foundation, and Professor Christos Hadjiemmanuil University of Piraeus, Member of the Board, Council for International Relations contributed with their comments.
The discussion was moderated by Professor Konstantina Botsiou, Dean of the School of Economic, Business and International Studies, University of Piraeus.
