On March 8, 2021, the Department of International & European Studies at the University of Piraeus and the Council for Foreign Relations–Greece, hosted a webinar on the topic of Nuclear Proliferation, with Angela Kane, United Nations High Commissioner for Disarmament Affairs (2012-15), and Ariel (Eli) Levite, Senior Fellow, Nuclear Policy Program, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Athanasios Platias, Professor of Strategy, University of Piraeus, and Vassilis Trigas, Lecturer at Tsinghua University’s Schwarzman College, commented on the discussion.
The purpose of the discussion was to present and comment on the challenges, policies, and equipment control regimes associated with the proliferation of nuclear technology weapons supplies.
